Our history
2017
2017
Effee was founded in February 2017 by Eirik Belland and partner Oshaug Metall. The ambition was to create an efficient induction heated feeding technology for foundry markets.
2018
2018
In 2018, the first prototype was launched. The same year, Effee merged with leading induction manufacturer “Induction Spares and Services”, forming Effee Induction. Additional value offerings were added, including induction and- refurbishing machine manufacturing, spare part manufacturing, and sterling services.
2020
2020
In January 2020, the development of robotic welding for on- and offshore maintenance was initiated. The first robotic welding project started in October 2020, and on-site robotics became an essential part of Effee’s value offering.
2021
2021
By December 2021, the first welding operation on a pressure vessel was accomplished, and a year later, the first offshore operation utilising 3D laser was carried out, enabling 3D-printed robotic welding on site. Our aim is to carry out fully remote operations for on-site repairs.
